  • Which mid-season bibs are better - the Saginaw or the Elkins?
    - The Saginaw is a warmer pair of bibs for mid-season hunts than the Elkins. It uses both Heat Boost fleece on the inside and Berber fleece on the outside. The downside to the extra warmth of Berber is it’s not burr resistant - unlike the In-Velvet fleece of the Elkins.
  • Can I mobile hunt with a treestand or saddle wearing the Saginaw jacket?
    - Yes, it is easy to be mobile in the Saginaw. However, with its Heat Boost lining, you can overheat if you don’t use the two-way hip zippers that run the full length of the leg. Open up the top zipper while walking in to dump excess heat and keep you from sweating.
  • Do I need to order a size larger for layering in cold weather?
    - No, you do not need to “size up” when ordering the Saginaw. We design all of our clothing to “grow” with you for layering - from lightweight to heavyweight garments. For example, if you wear an XL pant/bib for early season hunts, you will only need an XL for cold weather hunts.
  • How many layers are needed to take the Saginaw jacket to 30F?
    - Our temperature ratings follow our System Builder from base layers to bibs/pants. Everyone’s cold tolerance is different, but following the System Builder will get the full temperature rating coverage.
