The Elkins midweight soft shell jacket in Tarnen® is designed to be an all season garment that can handle a wide range of weather conditions. Perfect for when you are faced with changing weather from the start to the end of a day's hunt. Layer up as the season transitions from chilly to blustery cold. Designed with a hybrid concealment pattern, the Tarnen® camo windproof jacket is constructed of a triple layer fabric: a low pile In-Velvet® fleece bonded to a windproof breathable film and a grid fleece.
A DWR finish on the exterior allows the jacket to shed light moisture. The grid fleece interior provides soft comfort and warmth. The bonded film blocks the wind from penetrating, keeping you protected from chilly blasts and in the hunt even as the temperature turns cold. The Microban® antimicrobial product protection on the grid fleece controls your scent and allows you to remain concealed even upwind. The jacket can be worn on its own or as part of a layering system in colder temperatures.
Under arm pit zippers allow you to vent without removing the jacket. The articulated arms ensure a full range of motion and the sleeves are tapered to provide a stream lined fit. The high stand collar, inner storm flap behind the main zipper, long back and cinchable hem combine to keep out the cold. Six spacious pockets give you plenty of storage options: Two size zip pockets, two upper chest zip pockets and two interior open stash pockets. The harness access hole allows you to wear your tree stand harness under the jacket.
Trusted for multi climate use - the midweight hunting jacket is incredibly flexible and will see you through the bulk of your hunting season. It works well in the mid season when temperatures start to dip, as well as in the later windy, colder season hunts with proper layering. Excellent for Western spot and stalk hunts as well as blind and tree stand hunts. Versatility is the key to this Tarnen® pattern hunting jacket.
